Applications to host a DITA intern during Summer 2026 are now open!

The Diversity in the Arts Internship is preparing to host our eighth cohort of young leaders in the Colorado arts and culture sector. One key element of the DITA experience is having a great pool of workplaces for Interns to choose from! Host organizations are where DITA interns learn what it's really like to be part of the cultural workforce in Colorado. If your organization is geared toward uplifting diversity and fostering creative leadership, and is looking for a bright young creative to join the team for the summer, now's your chance to apply as a 2026 DITA host site!

  • values aligned with fostering creative young leaders from all backgrounds

  • infrastructure and team capacity to support an intern

  • full-time staff member who is enthusiastic about serving as the intern's supervisor

  • meaningful project/job duties for the intern to work on throughout the summer

Play your part in creating the future of Colorado's cultural sector when you host a DITA intern. Visit our website to read through the full requirements and responsibilities of hosting a DITA intern.
