About DITA

The Diversity in the Arts (DITA) Internship Program is dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the leadership of the arts & culture nonprofit community in Colorado. Our interns are hired to work a 10-week paid internship at one of DITA's host sites and given tools to grow as advocates for DEI in their workplaces and beyond. Host sites are matched with exceptional college students to work with them full-time over the summer.

The first summer of DITA took place in 2019, and since then more than 30 interns have completed the program. One of the most special elements of the program is the cohort model, which allows interns to kickstart their professional networking with equity-oriented peers.
